I'm currently professor in the Department of Philosophy, University of Bergen Norway. I'm also involved in the activities of the Wittgenstein Archives Bergen, and a co-editor of its open access journal Nordic Wittgenstein Review. 

Before joining the Dept. as a tenured associate professor, I held two lectureships, one at University of Cambridge (History and Philosophy of Science Dept.), and another at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I was a Rotman Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Western Ontario after I received my PhD in philosophy in 2006 from Univ. of Toronto. I moved to Toronto in 2001 after I studied mathematics and philosophy in Bucharest (where I'm from).
